Thanks, that is an interesting article. I sent it along to a corporate client I do occasional work for (paid for my G5 playground).
I'm apprehensive about Microsoft involvement though because they can muddy up the waters badly with their excessive greed. Just like I'd be apprehensive about Macromedia adopting Blender, though they are probably not smart enough :~)
