-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I'm working on a port of Boa Constructor to OS X and one of the most common problems (reported often to the main developer) of Boa on the Mac is recursion limits. The application, when opening or saving a file, freezes and crashes frequently, while outputting a message like this: "runtime error: recursion limit exceeded." This is what I've observed as well.
While I don't get similar output from the other programs I maintain, including SPE, wxGlade and Eric3, the behavior is similar. I ran across this thread: http://lists.osafoundation.org/pipermail/commits/2005-February/003813.html which indicates to me that conflicts between recursion limits in Python and OS X are a known, documented issue. Does anyone have experience in dealing with this issue? Any workarounds? ~ I'm very interested in working through/around this so that the apps I maintain are actually usable. :-) - -- Cheers, Kevin Walzer, PhD WordTech Software--Open Source Applications and Packages for OS X http://www.wordtech-software.com http://www.smallbizmac.com http://www.kevin-walzer.com mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.1 (Darwin) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFCg9DDJmdQs+6YVcoRApGDAKCEdTo6O5hBR28Qgqf5vTyeZyZhnACfXP8s m6X2XBgz5nqbI5IEdie2bNk= =No36 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Pythonmac-SIG maillist - Pythonmac-SIG@python.org http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/pythonmac-sig
