It's an mpkg, so you need to do the same for all of the subpackages, too. > has anone else had the same problem? Yes, see the thread titled "ANN: pygame 1.7.0 for Mac OS X 10.3" .zip files created by Python's ZipFile don't interact well with unzip(1). bdist_mpkg got patched with a workaround, but apparently the pygame installer .zip never got updated.
