Hi Bob. I have this path is in my .cshrc where I am setting paths for my
home. This seemed to work fine for Jaguar but I guess not for Panther.

[dp_mac450:~] davidpra% python2.4
Python 2.4.1 (#2, Mar 31 2005, 00:05:10)
[GCC 3.3 20030304 (Apple Computer, Inc. build 1666)] on darwin
Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information.
 >>>
[dp_mac450:~] davidpra% python
Python 2.3 (#1, Sep 13 2003, 00:49:11)
[GCC 3.3 20030304 (Apple Computer, Inc. build 1495)] on darwin
Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information.
 >>>

So getting python2.4, just not the right version from python or pythonw
at command line as with macpython 2.3. I'll try setting path using the
other method from the link you provided using the
~/.MacOSX/environment.plist method. Hopefully this will do the trick.

Many thanks.

Regards,
David
