Just build the extensions there. Assuming that you do most of your development in Python you'll just have to boot into 10.3 whenever one of the extensions you use changes. If you use Bob's python 2.4 distribution and build all packages containing extensions on 10.3 py2app will happily create a 10.3 compatible application bundle on 10.4.
