Um, why not? I think X11 now comes with OS-X by default. Or does it

It comes with OS X, but it doesn't install by default.

It also looks too non-Macish: the menubar of X11 application is al wrong, it is not at the top of the screen. This often confuses me (and I'm more a unix user than a mac user).
