First, you already have Python on your computer. Apple put it there in OS X (open a Terminal and type python, return and you're in. Try it out). But you probably want to put in a later version. However, DO NOT REMOVE THE APPLE VERSION. It will not be replaced. Another, newer python will be added in another folder. Check out these sites for more information (Do read the FAQ so you know how to really set things up): http://pythonmac.org/packages/ (go to Universal Packages), http://pythonmac.org/wiki/FAQ (take time to read it over and follow some other links to get the idea of how to set up and run Python on your Mac -- there are several approaches and many are free). -- Cheers, Lou Pecora Code 6362 Naval Research Lab Washington, DC 20375 USA Ph: +202-767-6002 email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ Pythonmac-SIG maillist - Pythonmac-SIG@python.org http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/pythonmac-sig
