-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello,
being new to Mac OSX, I wonder how to use all the magic stuff described in Apples docs. After scouting through the MacPathon documentation jungle I installed Python 2.4.1 (plus Tiger-fix) on OSX 10.4. May aim is to convert in-memory PICT images (fetched from Quark using AppleScript/appscript) into PIL images. I searched the web (and usenet), but dit not find a solution. After long search I've found some snippets in "Quartz Programming Guide for QuickDraw Developers". I managed converting the PICT into a PNG which can be read by PIL. But this requires a) Apples CoreGraphics SWIG-interface b) writing both the PICT anf the PNG into a file. Can anyony please point me to some snippets. Since what I have build now is not even "reinventing the wheel", but "reinventing the sledge" :-\ - -- Schönen Gruß - Regards Hartmut Goebel | Hartmut Goebel | IT-Security -- effizient | | [EMAIL PROTECTED] | www.goebel-consult.de | -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mandriva - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iQEVAwUBRIMBTMzajR0mSa83AQKvlQf7BWOdSmstiuAfAmNt+jZCpCw+7PzVYMbz UQuZLcDE85Lsah4bSE9yskcQZAI8J88u7ue+yr9falJjzCMadQ4ltneLTqj/TlV9 DQ6KbvZ0WxZYj81LTFdOky+NIRdGhKoKAY76cYKJ4yTI35gEYdWj2CHM31ZJKrxW RZy2R5GQvdyGyOCq4jnUA0UgQjbooDhXlZ5QkrSfay/mGearBTE9ijFc9WLQNg+G fLw+ygamZciQpntmX/Kfu5x9BXajoK5os5wnO/Q49cii6euKI15fu6E2LSGizxLp k1tP+vCLcmWhgcCZUiPCHGhbQ0PYTRJtUZZiBb6Lf5uLwegAaBPM6A== =ESPV -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Pythonmac-SIG maillist - Pythonmac-SIG@python.org http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/pythonmac-sig
