Most people here are probably using OSX 10.4 or don't use IDLE. I'll have a 
look at this issue tomorrow, IIRC IDLE works correctly for me on my 10.3.9 box 
but I can't test right now. I have the latest version of AquaTk installed 
(which you can download from http://tcltkaqua.sourceforge.net/).
