There is a Python standard library module called "new", and the Mac filesystem is case-insensitive... Try doing
% touch new % touch New % ls Bill _______________________________________________ Pythonmac-SIG maillist - Pythonmac-SIG@python.org http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/pythonmac-sig
