My python is 2.5.4 from Python.org.  My freind's python is python 2.5.1
(standard on Leopard from Apple).
I presume my friends python is "a vendor Python" and thus
semi-standalone is being forced.

Still not sure what the correct fix is :(

I don't have the code in front of me, but I put something like "semi_standalone = False" in my project's keyword options to force it not to be standalone.
