Ok- thanks. This worked.
I was able to run the installer- without problems.
I do have one issue though. I am under the impression that
"universal-py2.7" means it will run under both 32 & 64 bit systems.
When I imported wx

I am using the default version of Python (2.7.5) that comes with Mavericks
