Hi there, I feel that there is a lot of interest in using pythonnet with modern flavors of .Net and without .Net Framework/Mono. In fact, it's already possible using the latest preview packages, even if the documentation isn't updated.
I made this very simple minimal demo: https://github.com/aesim-tech/pythonnet_minimal. It demonstrates how to use pythonnet with .Net6 and how to use encoders. Note: I am not involved in the development of Pythonnet, so It might not be the best approach. It is what I understood looking at the source code. I hope this helps.
