Hi Jason, Previous release is really out of date. You should update to latest svn rev (see my previous e-mail for new svn repository location).
In the latest svn rev, you cvan skip SWIG files generation and use those in the SWIG_src_modular_linux_darwin directory (It's been successully tested on Ubuntu 8.04 32 bits). All you have to do is to edit the environment.py script to change OCC_INC and OCC_LIBS paths, cd pythonOCC/src, and just enter 'python setup.py build' (do not include -cmsvc if you're on Linux: this argument tells python distutils to use Visual Studio as C/C++ compiler).
