Hi Ben, Arthur, Thanks for your interest in PythonOCC. I'm curious; it seems you are on a debian / ubuntu platform. Have you considered using the binaries provided at the pythonOCC.org?
Arthur is right, not $CASROOT probably means that OCC is not installed on your machine. Are you sure "sudo apt-get install libopencascade-visualization-dev libopencascade-ocaf-dev" worked out well?
