I agree with everything you've said, and in truth I am much more of a command line guy, or scripting guy, or programming guy, than I am one to like GUIs. So, really the only reason I would bother working with the wx stuff is just because I'm brushing up on some coding, or maybe making something that could be potentially used as a sample. In truth, my background in CAD comes from a completely different direction than traditional CAD- in particular, fenn and I have been scheming up a repository architecture for packaged designs and their parametric intercompatibility (and possibly subsequent interchangeability), plus automatically generated instructions. So, the ability to have a giant GUI to draw stuff in 3D space isn't too particularly important to me, but it seems to be a big key component for others, and so I've been willing to investigate it. Maybe I'll draft up some notes to help explain that background and direction I'm hoping to work towards. A simple API is a critical component .. but at the same time it'd be nice if I actually knew the backend OCC API :-). - Bryan http://heybryan.org/ 1 512 203 0507 _______________________________________________ Pythonocc-users mailing list Pythonocc-users@gna.org https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/pythonocc-users
