I don't see this on start-up, but once I start dragging the edge_id slider around, this exception is raised from time to time. Keep dragging the slider and it should recover. I couldn't decide how to handle these exception (selector.Solve failure, or chamfer build failure) so I just let them propagate. Better would be to have an "error" trait on each object, and set this on each excpetion, so the user can see this in the GUI (maybe change the tree icon to red). No time to do this today though...
