That's kind-of deliberate. If you're not logged in with the OCC website, it redirects to the register page. The opencascade folks would like you to register before downloading - you only have to provide a few details, and they don't spam. It probably helps their funding to say X new people downloaded last month, or somesuch. Maybe we should make it more obvious this will happen on the wiki. > http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=7571&detail=0 Interesting - I didn't know archlinux had an OCC package. > I downloaded from this link: > http://files.opencascade.com/OCC_6.3_release/OpenCASCADE_src.tgz Okay, I'm a bit confused now. Did you download from archlinux or from opencascade? > later, I found that the Mac OS X install page had this link: > http://www.opencascade.org/ex/stats/cnt2.php?code=Occsrc63&usr=&chw=DBCLU1207924986 We should probably fix that - it's a bit cheeky to bypass their login, even if it is easy :-) > I was able to insall OpenCASCADE fromm the archlinux tar file last > night. Let us know where you're at, I think you're nearly there.
