Hi-- sorry about that. wxDisplay is part of OCC, but I forgot I was using a
slightly modified version of it.

I have attached that file-- it goes in the same directory as OccSlicer.py.

I agree that the file attachment is much less than ideal: I couldn't figure
out how to attach just a simple file for download. Thomas/Jelle-- do you
guys know how to do that?

Regards,
Dave

Subject: Re: [Pythonocc-users] Slicer Code Posted..

Hi Dave,

How do you use this code? The reason that I ask is that I tried it this way
and got errors:

d...@dan-desktop:~/CAM/pythonOCC/samples$ python OccSlicer.py cube.stp
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "OccSlicer.py", line 5, in <module>
    import wxDisplay
ImportError: No module named wxDisplay

I had to copy/paste the code for OccSlicer.py and PathManager.py from the
wiki, as I couldn't find any obvious simple download links, so it's possible
that there is an indent error in my files. But, I seem to remember seeing
the 'ImportError: No module named wxDisplay' error a while ago, on older
code, before I had pythonOCC properly set up.

I installed pythonOCC about two weeks ago and I assume that I am using your
script totally wrong and am missing something obvious.

I am really interested in your slicer. It looks like something that could be
used in the pursuit of slicing up solids for use with dimensioned drawings
(cross sectional views). It looks like a very interesting project.

Thanks,
Dan Falck
