Thanks for the tips Sebastian and Thomas, I'm running into the following error, when trying to compile on Ubuntu 9.10 /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lTKCDLFront collect2: ld returned 1 exit status error: command 'g++' failed with exit status 1 I also noticed that there is no package in the 9.10 repositories called opencascade-dev. I presume you meant libopencascade-dev? It seems to be the same issue that Thore Oltersdorf mentioned on the list a while back: http://www.mail-archive.com/pythonocc-users@gna.org/msg00720.html For now I'm still playing around in an OpenSUSE virtual machine, but I'd be much happier to get into Ubuntu 10.04) for development, since that's where I'm comfortable and doing everything else. Regarding Thomas's comment, I think the GEOM wrapper is critical for what I'm trying to do with PythonOCC, so I need it to compile with support for that. Any suggestions? Thanks again! -John
