Hard to answer this question: it depends on your machine. Maybe the
compilation is longer on Linux than on MacOSX : it's about 1h30 on my
MacBookPro.
I still have to port the setup.py script to CMake (a work I started a long
time ago but never finished). This way, it will be possible to select
different installation settings ("release", "debug", "release with deb
info"), and shorten compile time.
