Hi, I'd like to construct a simple utility which takes PCB assembly details, fetches components (STEP/IGES) from library, and places them on top of PCB (STEP/IGES), and finally exports the assembly to another file.
The assembly file containts component (e.g. transistor) type (a link to library), assembly side (either top or bottom side of PCB), assembly coordinates and orientation. *** I tried to browse the API documentation, but could not get any hint how to start (e.g. how to set the position and orientation of imported shape).
