Hi Tobias, Great, half of my target already achieved ;) Web collaboration is a great thing !
My next step is to get arbitrary (user-defined) slices, or actually intersection of selected sheet "orientation-position-thickness" with airfoil shape. Then I need to generate cut-outs so that sheets can slide into each others. Last one is exporting each sheet / sheet profile. Has anyone already worked on similar tasks? *** Tobias, can you post the source code of your generator. I too often find old discussions referring to non-existing code/webapp. I'd like to offer our future readers a different experience ;) - Topi On Mon, 2010-07-05 at 11:04 +0200, Tobias Mueller wrote: > Dear Topi Rinkinen, > > a few months ago I got the same example-code (see message June 29th, search > for airfoil in mail archive) from Thomas and I created an online application > for creating a 3D step geometry based on the 4digit-naca-definitions. > > Here the link (the application is in german, english version is planned): > > http://wkaero.calcing.de/index.php > > To create the geometry, the following steps are necessary: > > PREPROCESSOR > - "Blattgeometrie: Profilkontur und 3D-Beschreibung" > -> activate the first and secon check box > > SOLVER > - "Berechnung starten" > > POSTPROCESSOR > - "Auffädelung der Profilschnitte" > -> download STEP-file > > Many thanks to the pythonocc-developement-team, > > Tobias > > _______________________________________________ > Pythonocc-users mailing list > Pythonocc-users@gna.org > https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/pythonocc-users > _______________________________________________ Pythonocc-users mailing list Pythonocc-users@gna.org https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/pythonocc-users
