Dear all,

Please let me know if you would like to be part of the pythonocc
'Collaborators'. Being a collaborators enables creating private development
branches that can be merged into the master branch.

git allows really efficient workflows compared to subversion. Moving from
svn to git requires a serious effort but the gains are really impressive.
git/GitHub are used to support the OCE development (
https://github.com/tpaviot/oce). It would not have been possible to move so
fast without such tools.

I updated the pythonocc wiki with two entries (
https://github.com/tpaviot/pythonocc/wiki) : GitWorkflow (explaining how we
should use git/github), as well as 'usual git commands' which gives a few
hints about the common commands to run. It's not intended to be a git
tutorial, jus a reminder if you forget about the git syntax. The GitWorkflow
is a copy/paste of the one from OCE (designed and setup by Denis Barbier),
which is perfectly suitable for projects like the one we're working on.

At last, don't be afraid of git. It may look a bit scary, but it's really a
better friend than subversion. Let me know is you wish to join the
'Collaborators' team. It's open to any of you willing to contribute/share
code.

Best Regards,

Thomas
