Hi Kene, I use Debian 6, not Debian 7. I successfully installed pythonocc0.6 alpha about a year ago. If I recall correctly, you must make sure to install the exact occe version pythonocc was made to work with. Therefore, I doubt the default liboce in Debian 7 will be the right package. For example, the current version of pythonocc at https://github.com/tpaviot/pythonocc requires occe 0.12, while Debian 7 supplies occe 0.9. I would guess that's your problem, but can't be certain.
If I were to install straight, I'd first try Marko's Debian directions for Kubos (which must first install pythonocc) at http://sourceforge.net/p/kubos/wiki/Installation/. That would allow compiled binaries without the hassle of compiling. However, I haven't tried it myself and can't vouch for it. - Charles _______________________________________________ Pythonocc-users mailing list Pythonocc-users@gna.org https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/pythonocc-users
