As far as I know, pytrainer doesn't support the 405 natively (with its ANT+ download protocol). I use it with a hacked application, formerly known as "gant", that allows downloading track files from 405 watches using the ANT+ USB stick, then I import the tracks manually in pytrainer. This application has been packaged in Debian as "garmin-ant-downloader, to avoid a name conflict.
