Thank you for taking the time to respond.

No need to apologize; I was just curious, as I am deciding whether to
use pyusb 1.0,
which seems much improved over the previous version, or to stick with
the previous
version since it is not an alpha or pre-alpha release.

I am writing some utilities to control a custom USB device;  would you
recommend using 1.0 at this point?
