I'm working with an ubuntu os 10.04 designed for ARMv7 running kernel 6.4.35.3 .

Thanks for taking the time to run the code.

My device is supposed to boot up with a message.
Of course your device, probably, won't.

Since it is designed to work like a usb to serial device, I wonder if the DTR or CTS pin is not at the correct voltage.

I appreciate your help this gives me more to go on.
