XZise added a comment. What do you mean with “old implementation” and the original traceback doesn't make sense in close inspection. Did you change the files after starting the script? For example I can't explain why raising the error should cause an API request. And then a line like `def put_async(self, newtext, summary=u'', watchArticle=None,` shouldn't appear in a traceback. I mean the only problem such a line can make is a syntax error.
