Seems like there was an issue where when I ran `nosetests` it was actually using the system's python, because pyenv was linking `nosetests` to system python instead of giving an error that it was not installed in pyenv. This apparently happens if the pyenv shims are not updated (This can be rehashed manually or is done automatically when a new shell is opened). Closing, as it is not a pywikibot issue.
