Note PyPy 3 is unlikely to be useful at the moment, as it is based of an old version of PyPy, and has lots of bugs which will not be fixed and released into packaging systems in a timely manner. (There were some other alternatives on https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/260909/ )
