  I'm probably facing this same issue with MER-C's wiki-java
<https://github.com/MER-C/wiki-java/tree/64feb0f1097f5192e5a6f5a41457586112c2a0a4>
 client library. Most login actions succeed, a few of them fail with
//result=NeedToken//. This framework also retrieves a login token via
`action=query&meta=tokens`, the generated token (upon error response) is not
used in any way thereafter.

  My bot performs hundreds of login actions per week via BotPasswords. This
problem showed up for me on Tuesday, 31th March.
