These are simple uploads to Commons, so these don't touch Wikidata, in fact these don't even use wd links. Trying local copying of the files to my creaky laptop, then uploading, which did not solve the problem as it returned "MemoryError" messages instead. Also tried limiting uploads to <80MB then <50MB and though uploads are more often successful, it still gets stuck in retrying loops on some files. For example https://archive.org/download/catalogofcopyri2112libr/catalogofcopyri2112libr.pdf which is reported as 41.3MB.
