If enough of the more active pywikibot developers are attending an unconference session on pywikibot could maybe be a possibility? Personally I wouldn't mind a discussion on the direction of pywikibot and the interaction with pywikibot 2.0.
Part of the reason why I rarely +2 is that I think "yes this works but is it what we want" and I've never payed much attention to the scripts directory (since I primarily use pywikibot as a library). As for pywikibot 2.0 I have no entry point for which patches are/should be ported, what has been added and when/how release candidates are selected. Possibly I'm missing an obvious documentation/project page but I don't think that is the case. While such a discussion could as well happen on this list in-person meetings (with the possibility of remote participation) tend to be an efficient way to get the basics hashed out. Any thoughts? /André On 19 October 2016 at 02:11, Srishti Sethi <sse...@wikimedia.org> wrote: > Hello! > > The Wikimedia Developer Summit > <https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Wikimedia_Developer_Summit> is the annual > meeting to push the evolution of MediaWiki and other technologies > supporting the Wikimedia movement.
