There is a separate scale for font sizes called xscale which is quite easy to manipulate (i.e. state something like "unit.set(xscale=2)" at the beginning of your document). Beside that you can use all kind of TeX/LaTeX font functionality as long as the fonts are available as Type1 fonts. See the FAQ (especially 6.4.1) for an example.
