Since I want to add (i.e. bring back) some 3-d functionality to PyX
within the next months, I'll certainly take a look on what other
solutions do and how they are doing what they do. We've never
developed PyX without looking around, although PyX is a fully
self-contained solution. So thank's for the pointer and let's see what
we'll get in the end ...
