The doubling font thing doesn't seem to affect the look of things. I noticed it in Illustrator - I went to delete a letter and it was still there... Also - after more poking about, I see that PyX does indeed strip out whole font sets. Using Adobe Garamond Premier (and mathpazo) is fine and results in the above file - 34kb. However, in my Garamond Premier .sty file, I declared an option that defines a new math alphabet. I then used this alphabet to redefine the math symbols 0-9 (numbers). Using that option makes the above graph 700kb. Turning that option off (but still using Garamond Premier) makes the 34kb file, so I'm pretty happy now. If I *really* need different numbers for my labelling, I can run the whole thing through Ghostscript as detailed in my previous mail. Thanks! Really looking forward to using PyX! ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more? Need to support web services, security?
