I would love to have that too. I've been monitoring this list for a while and thinking about trying to hack on that myself. Unfortunately, I don't know anything about SVG and I'm in the middle of finishing up my MS so I don't foresee being able to help much in the near future. By the way, a big thanks to everyone who has made PyX the wonderful tool that it is.
