Hi everyone,
I'd like to plot a figure with 'dropped spines', in which abscissa and
ordinate do not cross each other and serve as a sort of scale bars (you can
see an example in
http://matplotlib.org/examples/pylab_examples/spine_placement_demo.html).
For that I'm set the arguments xaxisat and yaxisat of the class
graph.graph.graphxy to values that lie below the min values assigned to
each axis. Everything works as expected. The only downside is that I have
to specify the offset of the spines (axes) in data coordinates, and I'd
prefer to use visual coordinates (say, I want the spines to be 4mm apart
from the canvas).
Is there a way to specify the offset of the dropped spines in visual
coordinates?
Thanks a lot for your attention and help.
Dani
