Hi PyX users,

to those of you, who use a checkout of the svn trunk, please note that we just
moved the Python 2 PyX tree (the trunk) to:

 svn://svn.code.sf.net/p/pyx/code/branches/py2

The new trunk now is the Python 3 branch we created during the last couple of
days. This new version works on Python 3 ***only*** (Python 3.2 and above). If
you update your existing checkout with the repository url

 svn://svn.code.sf.net/p/pyx/code/trunk

without switching the repository url by an svn switch command to the py2
branch, you will now get the new Python 3 version of PyX. All of our tests and
examples run, but there
will for sure be corner cases we have not covered. So if you're interested in a
PyX version compatible with Python 3, give it a try and report problems and
bugs.

We will probably make a Python 3 ***only*** release of PyX in a few weeks or
month. The alternative of supporting Python 2.7 and Python 3.3 in parallel is
too cumbersome for us and we believe anyway that it is about time to move
forward. For all who cannot follow us (yet), the current 0.12.1 release of PyX
should work well for the next years.

Happy PyXing,

Jörg and André
