PyXB 1.2.0 has just been released to SourceForge at:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/pyxb/files/pyxb/1.2.0/

The release notes are at: http://pyxb.sourceforge.net/releases.html#nov-2012

An example of how diagnostics are improved with this version is at:
http://pyxb.sourceforge.net/userref_validating.html#validating

The ultra-cool new content model is described at:
http://pyxb.sourceforge.net/arch_content.html#validating-content

Please grab a copy of this version and try it out. It's only available
from SourceForge from the link given above. I'm not making it the default
version until somebody other than me checks it out and I find time to
address a few more of the open issues. PyPI packaging will also occur when
it's stable.

NOTE:

- You need Python 2.6 or Python 2.7 for this. Some of the tests won't work
under Python 2.6, but due to flaws in the test infrastructure not PyXB.

- The exception hierarchy changed a lot. You also will have to regenerate
all bindings (they're never compatible between PyXB releases). Otherwise
there should be little need to change your code.

- I'll provide as much support as I can but I'm going to be switching back
to focus on paid contract work for the next month, so don't expect another
release until near the end of the year. If you try out 1.2.0 and run into
problems, that might make the release (and the corresponding fixes) occur
sooner. (Just sayin'.)
