Wow! Having been away from the wxPython list for several months, I must have missed previous announcements, so I just checked out the application. It's awesome! I've been looking for something like this for a while, having been dissatisfied for various reasons with other similar tools. Nicely done from a user-interface point of view as well -- didn't have to read any instructions to start using it.
I haven't had a chance to look at the source yet, but I'm sure there are areas of overlap. I had definitely been thinking about a task managing major mode for peppy, but it was just going to be something simple. Now, I wonder if I could make a wrapper that would allow Task Coach to be plugged in? Because now there's no way I want to spend any time writing some mini-task-list thingy when there's all this functionality in Task Coach. Maybe a Task Coach major mode is too ambitious, so I wonder if instead if you'd thought about communication between apps to perhaps submit new tasks from an IDE. Anyway, great job! You totally hit the bullseye for a tool that I had been wanting for years.
