Bonjour Alexis,

starting with SRC680m167 there will be a new default
configuration file created by the VCL TestTool application.

The file is only created, if there is not already a
configuration file available.

The change covers the CrashReporter and the selection of the OOo
version to test.

On Win32 it would be at: C:\Documents and Settings\Your User Name\Application Data\testtool.ini
On UNIX: ~/.testtoolrc
On MacOS X: ~/Library/Application\ Support/.testtoolrc

Advantages:

1. The entries for the CrashReporter are included;
   The sending of automated crashreports is disabled by
   default. If you would like to enable the automated
   sending of crashreports, while you run automated tests,
   edit the settings, by inserting your email.

   Example:

   [Crashreporter]
   UseProxy=false
   ProxyServer=none
   ProxyPort=8080
   AllowContact=true
   [EMAIL PROTECTED]

   In a later TestTool version, there will be a user interface
   for this in the TestTool. (i63641)

2. There is now a path selection dialog available, to choose
   the OOo to test. The entry is available at:
   Tools -> Settings -> Generic
   In the listbox in the section 'Area' choose the entry
   'OOoProgramDir' ->
   Now a button get's visible 'Path', where you can choose the
   path to the OOo to test.

   Example:

   Your soffice executable is e.g at:
   C:\Programs\OpenOffice.org2.0\program\soffice.exe

   Then a valid path selection would be:
   C:\Programs\OpenOffice.org2.0
   or
   C:\Programs\OpenOffice.org2.0\program

   You may edit a current TestTool configuration file to enable
   the path selection dialog, by inserting:
   Type=Path

   see complete feature mail about path selection at:
> http://util.openoffice.org/servlets/ReadMsg?list=features&msgNo=32

A bientôt
Sophie
