Hello Annie and welcome to the Apache OpenOffice project. Are you subscribed to the QA list? The headers on your note suggest you aren't (or at least were not when you sent it). If you are not subscribed then you won't see what is going on. I recommend starting by reading the material on our new volunteer page here: http://incubator.apache.org/openofficeorg/orientation/intro-qa.html That will give you a lot of useful background information and guide you through setting up some needed accounts.
