Sorry for the delayed response -- many of us were away over the
Christmas and New Year's holidays.

Thanks for noticing our "call for volunteers".  We have a major
release (Apache OpenOffice 4.0) scheduled for April.  We are trying to
build up our test capabilities before then, so we can ensure that this
release is of the highest quality.

I don't know if you saw this yet, but we have some "new volunteer
orientation modules" that you should review, at your leisure, to get
an overview of Apache and how things work here.  There is also an
introduction to QA there, including some good "starter tasks" for new
volunteers to look at.

The modules were designed to be done in order, but I think it is also
fine to jump around and explore what interests you.  This is supposed
to be fun!
