I would like to be able to change the default date format for "Insert >
Fields" in OpenOffice Writer. The mm/dd/yy format is good for
spreadsheets, but in formal written documents it is better to spell the
date out (November 21, 2014).
This should be a user-configurable preference, but when I did a search
online, I found out that it isn't and that there is an existing bug
#30216. The importance for this bug is set as "P3 Trivial." But I
understand that "P3" is the usual priority, whereas "Trivial" is the
lowest severity. Can I request that somebody please bump it up to the
second-lowest severity instead?
I notice that a lot of bugs are "P3 Trivial," presumably because they
were imported from the earlier version of the bug-tracker. I agree that
"P3" should be the default "priority," but think that the default
"severity" for a "P3" bug should be either the second-lowest or the
middle ("normal") rather than the lowest ("trivial.")
