Hi Tom, This list isn't intended for user support but I'll try to help. Your description of the problem is confusing. Does OpenOffice shutdown or just display a message? What is the message? If you attached a screenshot, it was filtered out. Is it correct that OpenOffice works after clearing the message or restarting? You say "then I can open the spreadsheet". Regards, Francis
