The linker script group is due to how the transition from a property-based
implementation of linker script support (in 1.4) to a file tag based one (in
1.5) was implemented. It seemed clever at the time, but in hindsight was
probably a mistake, as not enough consideration was given to the fact that it
would show up in Creator's project tree for every single product on Unix. It
will be gone in 1.6, though.
The Info.plist is probably due to the same mechanism; perhaps Jake can say more
about this.

Can confirm. Not much else to say beyond what the documentation already does.

Subject: [QBS] QtCreator 4.0

Hi,

What is the point of Info.plist and qbs_cpp_linkerscript in a Qbs project
created by Qt Creator 4.0?

Regards
