we have just merged a patch into the master branch (https://codereview.qt-project.org/c/qbs/qbs/+/493783) that employs parallelization to resolve projects. It should result in a noticeable speed-up for projects with lots of products. We advise you to check that your personal projects still work fine after this. If you notice any regressions, please file an issue at bugreports.qt.io.
