I was able to get some simple menus working. I found a couple of
rough spots, thought I'd call attention to them. Am I on the wrong
list for this?

I found it much easier when the avi file was already encoded as an
mpeg2, which was easy to do with two mouse clicks with Avidemux.

My MP3 music files didn't work, kept getting flagged with errors when
running "create DVD". I learned to check the box (right click on
music file colored banner on left of GUI) to enable transcoding.

Even then got errors. However, if i pasted in the new address of
the transcoded mp2 file into the step where spumux mplexes the menu
with the sound, the process ran well. Then I had to re-run the steps.

I copied the actual transcoding code into a terminal and did it there,
then pasted the location of the new file in /tmp/Unnamed into the
spumux step.

I still haven't figured out how to handle srt subtitle files so I can
select them from a menu.

Volume was an issue for some of the MP3s. I wanted to normalize, but
couldn't understand how to do this.

In all, it's nice to be able to do a simple menu. Thank you for
making this available. TOgether with avidemux, it makes it quite
simple to make a menued DVD.
